We know, by testament of the Bible, that Adam was divinely created in the image of God
(Genesis 1:26-27).  Because of Adam's disobedience to God's command not to eat of the
tree of good and evil, he fell and became a sinner (Genesis 3).  As a consequence, all of
Adam's descendents were and are born in the image of Adam, with sinful nature
(Psalm 51:5; Romans 5:19).  All men and women (with the exception of Jesus Christ),
have made the choice to sin, and are in desperate need of a Saviour (Romans 3:10-24).  
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
(Romans 6:23).
